The MyATLS app was designed as a tool within the ACS Committee on Trauma’s Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) program, which has successfully trained over 2 million participants worldwide across nearly 100,000 courses.

ATLS equips healthcare professionals—including physicians, nurses, and other trained personnel—with critical knowledge and skills needed to recognize and address life-threatening injuries in trauma situations. The resources provided within this app enhance the toolkit of clinicians managing trauma cases.

It is important to note that the MyATLS app is specifically intended for use by licensed medical professionals and is not suitable for patients or untrained individuals attending to injured persons.
